FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a car fire on the M5 between Junction 6 (Worcester) and Junction 5 (Droitwich).
The incident happened around 3pm yesterday on the northbound carriageway.
Two lanes of the motorway were closed while the crews from Droitwich and Worcester battled the blaze.
It led to delays for commuters while the incident was dealt with.
