THE PRIMROSE Hospice Choir will celebrate 25 years of singing, fundraising and community spirit with a special anniversary concert.

The group will mark its major milestone with the event at 7pm next Friday, October 17, at the Rocklands Social Club.

The choir is inviting everyone to join them and is hoping to see as many people as possible at the event.

For a quarter of a century, the choir has performed concerts and community events to raise vital funds for the Primrose Hospice and has also brought together through the joy of music.

The choir was founded in 2000 to support the Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

For a quarter of a century the choir has performed concerts and community events to raise vital funds for the Primrose Hospice, while also bringing people together through the joy of music.

This anniversary concert will showcase The Primrose Hospice Choir along with a line-up of guest performers. The evening promises variety, good music and celebration.

The choir said that for concertgoers this was more than a night of live entertainment – it was also an opportunity to support Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre, which provides essential care and support for people with life limiting illnesses and their families in north east Worcestershire.

Every ticket sold will help ensure these services remain free of charge to  those who need them most.

Rod Laight, Primrose Hospice Choir patron, said: “Reaching 25 years is a proud and moving milestone.

“This concert is a celebration of music, community and the extraordinary difference that Primrose Hospice makes every single day.

“We hope people will join us on October 17 to share in what promises to be a wonderful evening.”
