Jewellery worth thousands taken in Droitwich burglary

THOUSANDS of pounds worth of jewellery was taken during a burglary in Droitwich on Tuesday (December 9).

The incident – in Tagwell Road – happened between 3pm and 5pm when the raider gained access by smashing a window in a door.

Among the items taken were a gold and diamond ring with the diamonds mounted on a twist, a gold ring with three diamonds mounted on it, a topaz ring, two topaz necklaces, a pair of topaz earrings, a topaz bracelette and two amethyst gold rings.

Other pieces included two amethyst necklaces, an amethyst bracelet, a diamond bracelet, two pairs of sapphire earrings, a sapphire and diamond necklace on a gold chain, sapphire and diamond earrings, a sapphire firestone ring, two pairs of pearl earrings on a twist, a gold wrist watch with a man’s name engraved on it, three gold chains, three pearl necklaces and a gold wedding ring with a female and males name engraved on it, along with the wedding date.




Another gold wedding ring, a Welsh gold keeper ring, two pairs of swarovski crystal earrings, two pairs of diamond earrings, two diamond necklaces on gold chains, a single diamond pin, an opal and gold ring, and two pairs of opal earrings were also stolen.

The burglary is being linked to the others Bainbrigge Avenue, and Blackfriars Avenue.


Officers have asked residents to be on the look-out for the items described and any witnesses to the incident or anyone with any information should call 101.
