Parrots and cockatiel stolen from Droitwich

Droitwich Editorial 13th Apr, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

THREE exotic birds were stolen during a burglary in Droitwich over the weekend.

The incident, at the home on Stalls Farm Road, happened just after 9pm on Saturday (April 11).

After forcing entry to the property, the thieves stole two African grey parrots called CoCo and Congo and a cockatiel named Joey.

All three birds, who lived together in one big cage, talk and know their own names.

Investigating officer PC James Prosser urged anyone who knew of the birds’ whereabouts to get in touch, by calling police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“I am also asking anyone who may have been offered the birds for sale or know of anyone who has recently acquired a new parrot to get in touch.”
