A GROUP from Droitwich proved it was the the best town twinning trivia team around after finishing highest an annual quiz.
The Town Twinning Forum Quiz, organised by Bromsgrove Town Twinning Association, was held at The Rousler Club on March 28.
The team from Droitwich Spa Twinning Assoication took the trophy from last year’s winners – their Bromsgrove counterparts – and that means next year’s contest will now be held in Droitwich.
As well as the quiz, there was also food, a bar and a raffle.
Joyce Holliday who led the Droitwich team said: “It was the first quiz we had entered with this team and it was great to do so well.
“It was very well organised, we were made very welcome and we had a great time.
“We now have the task of organising next year’s quiz and have a lot to live up to.”
