THERE was a double celebration at Droitwich Spa Methodist Church to mark two long-time members of the congregation reaching their 100th birthdays.
Centenarians Dorothy Hatfield and Ivor Wilkinson regularly attend the church and the pair were congratulated after the weekly service.
A special birthday cake was made for them and everyone to enjoy with their after-service coffee.
Pastoral co-ordinator Mike Watts said: “Every Sunday morning the congregation mark members’ birthdays but this Sunday it had two even more special reasons to celebrate.
“They are two very well-respected members of the congregation who are both very active and are there almost every week.”
