A CHARITY dragon boat race will see a team from Webbs garden centre attempt to hold onto their title next Sunday (September 7).
The workers from the Wychbold store are hoping for a repeat of their triumph last year at the Pershore Phoenix Dragon Boat race and fun day.
The contest is being held to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice – one of the garden centre’s chosen charities of the year.
Mark Goddard, Webbs’ team leader, said: “We are ready to defend our title and have put in some training for the big day.
“It’s a great team building event, good fun and helps raise money for charity so we are all looking forward to it.”
