STUDENTS from Droitwich Spa High School celebrated another excellent crop of GCSE results when they picked up those all-important envelopes last Thursday (August 21).
A total of 64 per cent of pupils achieved five results between A* to C, with the same number attaining at least a C in maths and 62 per cent getting a C or above in English.
One student in ten achieved A or A*in at least eight subjects as well as performing strongly in AS English Literature and AS Critical Thinking.
Headteacher Natalie Waters said: “We should also remember that success comes in different forms – within our 260 candidates there are very many individual achievements.
“As I study the results I am delighted to see that so many of their efforts have been rewarded.”
Elliot Linney notched up eight A*s and three As, Don Pickworth achieved six A*s and six As and Ross Kirkpatrick was awarded one A*, eight As and two Bs. s
