A MAN had to be rescued from a property in Alexander Avenue, Droitwich, after a blaze broke out in the garage.
The incident, involving the 60-year-old, happened at 6pm yesterday evening (Thursday).
Fire crews from both Droitwich and Worcester attended and the man was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by West Midlands Ambulance Service staff.
After being given oxygen, he was discharged.
