A LAND ROVER Discovery, which was stolen in a car-key burglary, has been recovered in Droitwich.
The incident happened at 7.50pm last night (Monday) when the suspects entered the front yard of a farm in Moseley Road, Hallow.
The 64-year-old owner of the vehicle heard it leave and immediately reported the theft to the police.
It was then seen by officers about 8pm on Briar Mill where three men abandoned it.
The trio then fled in a black Volvo which was stopped by another police patrol between Copcut Island and Martin Hussingtree at 8.10pm.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of theft at the scene and have now been placed on bail.
Following the theft, officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw any of the vehicles – the Land Rover with the registration number L923 BDD or the black Volvo.
PC Richard Foxall said the police were keen to hear from people who were in and around Briar Mill at the time who could describe the people in either vehicle.
He added, although three were arrested, any extra information would help to assist officers with their enquiries.
Call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to pass on any information.
