Droitwich school launches own lottery

Droitwich Editorial 17th Dec, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

DROITWICH Spa High School has launched its own lottery with prizes of up to £25,000.

Following the country-wide trend pupils and teachers have set up their own school lottery allowing friends and relatives to take part in a £1 draw, each week.

Those with tickets will not only get the chance to win a cash prize but also money for projects which fall outside the budget of the normal running of the school.

Students already have one idea of what they are going to spend the money on which is to turn a under-used outdoor area into an ‘amphitheatre’ style seating and performance space.

The more people taking part the bigger the benefit will be so the school is encouraging all those in the area to get involved.

Those wanting to take part can call the school on 01905 774 421.
