DROITWICH Police are hunting thieves who stole horse rugs and head collars from a farm in Stoney Lane, Crossway Green.
In the first incident, which happened between 6pm on Christmas Day and 4.30pm on Boxing Day, the raiders took a pink heavy duty ‘Shires’ rug from a horse, worth £60, and a light blue head collar, which was also valued at £60. That had a couple of hole marks in it and dirt near the buckle.
Then, in the second theft, at the same farm, two horse rugs were taken. Both were light blue and had a sheepskin trim and, combined, were worth £200. Two navy blue head collars worth £20 were also stolen.
Fortunately no harm was caused to any of the horses.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
