KIND-HEARTED students and staff at Ombersley Endowed First School have raised more than £200 for additional maths equipment by holding a Halloween ‘spooktacular’.

A variety of themed games were played and there was a fancy dress competition for the most creative costumes.

Headteacher Caroline Moore said: “It was fantastic to see everyone getting into the spirit of Halloween and having so much fun. “What a wonderful way to end our first half term of the year.”

She thanked everyone who helped raise the cash.

The Friends of Ombersley School will also have a stall selling sweets and other treats at the Ombersley Cricket Club Bonfire next Friday (November 6).

All the profits, along with an entrance fee will go to the school to help pay for extra educational resources.
