THE ANNUAL General Meeting of the Droitwich Parish Survey will be held at 10am next Saturday (November 7) at The Old Library, Ombersley Street East.
There will be an illustrated presentation on The Excavation of Droitwich Town Mill, which once occupied an area alongside the canalised River Salwarpe.
It will be given by Andy Mann, an archaeologist from the Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service and will detail the results of various archaeological and scientific investigations into the site.
It has recently been redeveloped as the retirement home complex on Hanbury Road.
