SANCTUARY CARE has made a special donation to the Droitwich-based Gloverspiece Minifarm as a tribute to a valued member of their team.
Chris Bell, Sanctuary Care’s Regional Director – South, passed away in June after a short illness.
In her memory, Sanctuary Care’s Worcester office was inspired to donate to the farm because of Chris’s love of animals.
Gloverspiece Minifarm cares for various rescue animals, including geese, horses and donkeys.
Sanctuary Care managed to raise £650 in donations, which will go towards funds for a winter shelter for donkeys Jinx and Jenga, as well as mule Tiny.
Stephen Rees, Sanctuary Care’s director of care operations, described Chris as ‘an inspirational lady’, adding the donation was ‘a fitting tribute to her memory’.
