A PERSON has been struck by a train at Droitwich Spa Rail Station today (Thursday).
Police were called to the foot crossing at about 8.15am with reports of someone being on the track.
A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said: “Colleagues from West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended, and a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and officers are working to identify the person and inform their family.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
