Droitwich residents urged to have their say on new library layout plans

Droitwich Editorial 10th Jan, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

DROITWICH residents are being urged to have their say on proposals to re-arrange the layout of the town’s library so the venue can accommodate the re-location of Learning Disability Day Services to the library in Spring 2016.

The plans will be showcased at the library in Victoria Square and available for the public to view from 2pm to 4pm tomorrow (Monday), 5pm to 6.30pm on Tuesday (January 12) and between 10am and midday on Friday (January 15).

Those who go along will be able to view the proposals, ask questions and share their views.

Coun Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Localism and Communities, said: “I am immensely proud of Worcestershire’s Library Service, and one of the pillars of their quality service is listening to residents’ feedback.

“The proposed building work on Droitwich Library is an exciting prospect and one that we are looking forward to sharing with the public.”
