A REPRESENTATIVE from St Richard’s Hospice was presented with a cheque for £1,500 at the latest weekly lunch held by the Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa.
The cash was collected during the town’s Santa Sleigh tour which took place throughout December.
It was handed over by Rotary Club president John Bodger to Charlie Homer to help the hospice with the wonderful work it does.
Mr Bodger said: “We would like to thank the very generous Droitwich community. “
At the lunch Tom Jones gave a fascinating talk about changes in farming methods and economics since 1920.
