A BRAND new theatre school will be officially launched in Droitwich on Monday (January 25) with a free three-hour open day session.
The Star Project, which already has established, successful schools in Barnt Green and Solihull, will run the classes every Monday between 4.30pm and 7.30pm at Droitwich Methodist Church.
They will offer an hour each of acting, singing and dance tuition and work towards exciting shows and performance opportunities.
The Star Project aims to offer the children once in a lifetime opportunities alongside their regular classes.
The schools hit the press back in 2015 as the children of Barnt Green and Solihull took to the red carpet to view the premier of their very own film at The Mac Birmingham.
This year all Star Project children will perform a Musical Theatre Showcase at Her Majesties Theatre in London’s West End.
Jo Edwards, the creator, owner and director of The Star Project, said: “We are delighted to be launching here in Droitwich and have had an incredible response so far for children wanting to join us on our free trial session on Monday.
“We would love to welcome as many children from the surrounding area to come down and see what we are all about.”
Any parents who feel their children would be interested should call 07805 161533 to book a place on the free open day.
The Star Project provides an amazing opportunity for children to develop their skills through the arts, whilst gaining confidence and most of all having fun and making lots of new friends.
