DROITWICH residents only have a fortnight left to get in their nominations so local heroes to be recognised in this year’s Wychavon Community Recognition Awards.
The nomination deadline for the honours, which are in their third year, is February 10. The accolades celebrate the contribution of hundreds of volunteers, coaches, club leaders, artists and athletes who help make the town a better a place to live and work.
Tracy Grubb, Community Development Officer at Wychavon District Council, said: “There are hundreds of volunteers across Wychavon making things happen but quietly going unnoticed at the same time. Help us to change that by letting us know about those people making a difference where you live and work.”
