Woman has lucky escape after car crashes down embankment in Droitwich

A WOMAN had a lucky escape after a car left the road and went into an embankment.

The incident happened about 9.47pm on Sunday (February 14) at the junction of Tagwell Road and Primsland Way in Droitwich.

Fire crews from Droitwich and Worcester attended and had to cut the roof from the car to get the woman out as she was trapped in the vehicle.

She escaped serious hurt but sustained a number of more minor to her abdomen and hip.




She also had cuts to her face and was taken to the Worcestershire Royal for further treatment.

An ambulance, community paramedic, paramedic area support officer and merit support officer attended the scene.
