THE HEADTEACHER of Droitwich Spa High has spoken of her delight after the school was named in the top 100 non-selective state funded schools in England.
Natalie Waters received a letter from MP Nick Gibb, Minister of State for Schools, praising her, the staff and students for the way Droitwich Spa High had improved on the percentage of pupils achieving five or more A* to C grades including English and maths GCSEs.
Mrs Waters told the Standard: “I am delighted the sustained work of everyone concerned has been recognised in this way. This is testament to the work of not just the school and its teachers and support staff, but also our students and the families who support them.”
