AN OPTICIANS is appealing to residents to donate some chocolate treats or everyday foods so they can be taken to the Droitwich Spa Foodbank in the run up to Easter.
Staff at Specsavers, St Andrew’s Square want people to drop off any food they can spare.
Store director Emma Singh said: ‘’We have always thought the foodbank collection was a great local cause.
“Just one item goes a long way, so we are asking customers for their support.”
The team will be collecting food in a trolley donated from Morrisons until Easter Sunday.
