POLICE have issued a warning to people carrying pellet guns or air guns in public.
It comes after an unknown person shot a pellet into the wood panelling on the outside of a house in Farmers Piece, Droitwich.
It happened between 4pm and 7.15pm on Saturday.
Officers said anyone carrying imitation weapons or air and pellet guns could be mistaken for having real firearms.
As well as causing alarm to the public, it could also lead to serious consequences with the police and the courts.
Witnesses or anyone with any information on any of the above incidents should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
