THE HISTORY of Elmley Castle Village will be the subject of a presentation being given in Droitwich by guest speaker David Phillips.
The talk, organised by the Droitwich History and Archaeology Society, will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday (May 4) in the John Corbett Room of Droitwich Community Hall, Heritage Way.
A variety of topics relating to the village will be discussed, including the remains of a Norman Castle on Bredon Hill, the story of a visit by Queen Elizabeth I and a village full of stone or timber-framed buildings.
Everyone is welcome and admission will be £2 for visitors and £4 for guests.
