POLICE are investigating an incident which saw an object, thought to be a stone, thrown at a vehicle from a road bridge by Droitwich Spa High School at 8.45am on April 27.

The actions of the two youths who were seen to be wearing Droitwich Spa High School uniforms caused a dent in the van’s roof.

Sgt Sarah Kent said, it could have been a lot worse.

“Sometimes children don’t think of the consequences of their actions – this could have led to a crash if it had hit the windscreen.”

She added the police had been working with the school, which had been very co-operative and students were being reminded of the dangers of such actions in their assemblies.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
