THE MOTORWAY between Droitwich and Worcester has been completely closed off leaving drivers totally gridlocked.
There ques of traffic flooding back on the M5 at junction 5, for the A38 and junction 6 for A449 because of a spillage on the road in the area where there is already roadworks at about 4pm today (Wednesday).
traffic has been diverted from the 4th exit but the congestion has filtered back towards the 4a exit for the M42.
Motorist are warned to expect severe delays.
The situation has been made worse by a collision further down the motorway involving three cars.
