THE VOLANTE Springs will take to the stage at St Mary’s Church, Astwood Lane, Hanbury, for a special Summer Strings Serenade concert.
It is being held at 7.30pn this Saturday (July 9) and is being directed by Corinne Frost.
The programme will include Vivaldi – String Concerto in D minor, Elgar’s Serenade for Strings, a Beatles Medley, Rutter’s Suite For Strings, Leroy Anderson’s Fiddle-Faddle, Eric Coates’ Calling all Workers! Blue Lagoon and three short works for cello and strings by Frank Bridge and Casals (soloist Corinne Frost).
