DROITWICH’S Norbury Theatre will screen Andre Rieu’s legendary Maastricht concert at 3pm on July 24.
Known to millions as ‘The King of Waltz’, Rieu’s annual showpiece is one of the most eagerly anticipated cinema events of the year, setting new box office records in several countries 12 months ago.
Set against the stunning medieval backdrop of the town square in André’s Dutch hometown, it will feature the maestro in his element, along with his world-famous 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, tenors and special guests.
André promises, and delivers, an unforgettable musical experience full of humour, fun and emotion for all ages.
The concert will be screened on the Friar Street venue’s new projector which is due to be delivered on Monday (July 11).
