A STAGE version of cult BBC sitcom Up Pompeii will take place at Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre.
The performances of the popular TV show will take place at 7.30pm from Thursday (July 21) to Saturday (July 23) and from the following Thursday to Saturday (July 28 to 30).
Under the direction of Ian Thompson, this innuendo-laden production is set in ancient Rome and narrated by the hero Lurcio, the senator’s slave.
It charts his efforts to deliver his traditional prologue while being constantly distracted by a host sexual liaisons wreaking havoc in the house of his master Ludicrous Sextus.
To book tickets, which are £11 and £10, visit norburytheatre.co.uk or call 01905 770154. The show contains mild nudity.
