FRIENDS of Droitwich Spa Lido (FODSL), held a schools’ painting competition, to raise awareness of the Lido in the park.
The unique Lido was the setting as pupils, from Westacre Middle School and Chawson First School, drew, painted and crafted their interpretation of ‘A Picture of the Lido’.
Chair of FODSL and artist, Suzi Wood, who headed the judging panel, said she was very impressed by the high standard of art and creativity of the children, as she assessed each picture, with the top three pictures from each school selected.
The winners were awarded complimentary child and adult Lido tickets, with every other artist given a free child Lido ticket.
The pictures are on display at the Lido Café until the end of this term.
FODSL would like to thank the schools’ teachers, head teachers and pupils for taking part in a ‘fun and artistic experience’.
