A DOG has been rescued by firefighters in Droitwich after making his way onto the roof of a property in Westbury Road.
The incident happened at 3.50pm on Saturday (August 20).
The crew used a triple extension ladder to gain access to the roof and returned the black labrador to the unoccupied property before securing the building.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue said the dog was in distress and, although it was not certain how it got up there, it is thought it was via an open window.
