DROITWICH Tennis Club and Sanders Fitness, based at Gaudet Luce, have teamed up to offer a special joint membership to those wanting to combine the sport with other training.

The joint membership will offer access to both clubs and enable them to use the fully-equipped gym, fitness classes and a range of personal training programmes, along with eight tennis courts, tennis coaching and other activities.

Mark Billau, Sanders Fitness manager, said: “This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy playing tennis to improve their fitness and general wellbeing, which in turn can only improve their game.”

Droitwich Tennis Club, which has over 350 members, actively promotes the sport in local schools and is also supporting the campaign to get the Lido Park tennis courts resurfaced.

Neil Bates from the club added “Anything that encourages people to get fit and active has to be a good thing and we are really please to be associated with the guys at Sanders on this scheme.”
