AN ELEVEN-year old Droitwich girl has planned a special fundraising event from 3pm tomorrow (Saturday) to help buy school equipment for children living in refugee camps and the Prince’s Trust.

Phoebe Chan, who attends Westacre Middle School, has also set up a JustGiving page and has already raised £225 towards her £1,000 target.

Tomorrow’s event, which is called Phoebe’s Charity Fun Day, will take place at the Grange Pub in Worcester.

The proactive youngster will be splitting the funds between the two causes.

Activities will include a raffle, haircuts, a pool competition, bouncy castle, school disco and live acoustic music from Ben Vickers.
