COMEDIAN and actor John Thomson will be joining the legendary Roy Walker for an epic evening of belly-laughs and giggles at the Chateau Impney next month.

The latest big-name comedy night will be held at the landmark hotel at 8.15pm on Friday (October 7).

John Thomson’s appearance will be his first stand-up gig in several years and comes hot on the heels of the successful return of ITV’s Cold Feet.

He’ll be joined by Catchphrase host and comedy star Roy Walker who in recent years has delivered acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, starred in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights and reached out to younger audiences on Radio 1’s Car Park Catchphrase.

Completing The Impney Comedy Night’s line-up is comedian Mick Miller, who is replacing Ted Robbins following his withdrawal due to ill health.

A winner of New Faces, Mick has made his way across the World’s comedy circuit and gone on to become a household name.

Chateau Impney general manager Ben Elder said: “We’re sad that Ted Robbins has had to withdraw and wish him all the best.

“We are, however, delighted to welcome a comedian of Mick Miller’s pedigree to Droitwich.

“Like Roy Walker, Mick is one of the acts that today’s young comics have grown up watching and been inspired by.

“We look forward to seeing him take to the Chateau Impney stage.”

Tickets to The Impney Comedy Night start from £35 (£60 per person includes pre-show dinner). Doors open at 7.15pm.
