STAFF from the Droitwich-based Fortis Living and town tenants took part in a 5k colour run for Sight Concern, a Worcestershire Charity which supports people with sight loss.

The Fortis team contributed £536.90 to the overall total of £6,500. The Fortis team also sponsored a blue paint station during the colour run.

Sight Concern’s fund-raising manager Fiona Blake said the charity wanted to say a big thank you to the Fortis Living team, adding the amount raised would give the cause a ‘fantastic boost’.

Fortis Living’s community officer Chris Colley added it was great to see so many staff and tenants involved.

“The work Sight Concern does makes a real difference to many of our residents and we are very proud to be able to play a part in supporting them.”

Another colour run is already being planned for next summer in Droitwich.
