YOUNG people aged between 13 and 17 are being sought by the Droitwich branch of the Young Firefighters Association (YFA) which is looking to bolster its ranks.
An awareness evening where potential members can find out all they need to know about the group will be held at Droitwich Fire Station, Friar Street, at 7pm on Wednesday (October 19).
Members undertake a 13-week training course, learning plenty of firefighting skills which are then demonstrated at a passing out parade.
The young people involved in the YFA get to challenge themselves, make new friends and help their communities.
