TWO HERITAGE steam locomotives are set to tackle Bromsgrove’s famous Lickey incline whilst working an excursion.
The class 0-6-0 locomotives, numbers 9600 and 9466, known as Panniers, will be working the Pannier Rambler IV excursion to Tyseley from Worcester tomorrow (Saturday).
Ben Mason of organisers Vintage Trains said: “We are looking forward to another great day out and to tackling the Lickey incline.
“We hope that people will come and see us, and will remember to stay safe near the railway”.
The tour passes through Droitwich twice, at 2.09pm and 5.50pm, before arriving at Bromsgrove at 6.10pm.
Here the locomotives take on water before departing at 7.02pm.
Anyone going to Bromsgrove’s station to see the locomotives is reminded that high-speed trains will be passing by whilst the tour is waiting to depart.
It will arrive in Worcester Shrub Hill at 2.19pm and start its return journey at 5.31pm.
