A DROITWICH opticians is calling on residents to make donations towards its Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal.
The team at Specsavers on St Andrews Square will be sending packages around the world and are collected gifts up until next Friday (November 18).
Last year the team donated 150 boxes to the cause and are hoping contribute even more this Yuletide.
Store Director Emma Singh said: “Christmas is a time for sharing and this simple idea will cause such a positive impact on these children in need.
“Operation Christmas Child is a very special charity and we hope Droitwich residents will support the cause and donate to children less fortunate than us.
“It’s a lovely idea to think our generosity will be able to brighten the lives of those who are facing a tough Christmas this year.”
Donations can be made to the store or by calling 01905 790 660.
