Christmas messages from the team at the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards

Droitwich Editorial 25th Dec, 2016   0

HERE are the Christmas messages from the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards team featured in this week’s paper.

CHRISTMAS is a fantastic time of year to pause, recharge the batteries and spend some time with family and friends (especially the ones you have been too busy to see in the past few weeks and months).

It is also great to remember how excited you used to get at Christmastime as a child and I love to try and make the festive season as magical as possible for my children.

But this time of year can be hard for many people – particularly if they are spending their first Christmas without a loved one or someone close or do not have anyone to spend this time with.

So while we are celebrating this Yuletide, let us all try to make Christmas and new year memorable ones for everyone we meet or come into contact with.

I hope you all have a very merry Christmas, a happy new year and a prosperous 2017.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year.

It’s magical for children, it’s time when you spend precious moments with your family and it’s time to step back and give a helping hand to those in need show you care.

So may I say a very BIG thank you to all our readers, clients, colleagues and family for all the support throughout 2016, I wish you all very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year and once again thank you for all your support because it’s you all that makes the Standard so successful and a wonderful product which I am proud to be part of.

Merry Christmas to all.

CHRISTMAS is a time to come together and spend time with loved ones.

After what has been a tough year for many, it is important to appreciate the love in our lives and the things we take for granted.

At this time of year, not everyone has somewhere to go or someone to spend the day with, so it is a good time to think of those who may be alone.

Something as simple as a Christmas card or a cup of tea can put a smile on someone’s face and make them feel special.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Christmas from us at the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards.

Christmas, for me, is a time to relax with the family, eat far too much and watch nostalgic films that only get an airing at this time of year. It’s a time to take stock and reflect on the year that’s past with one eye on the future and the what that might hold.

It is a welcome break from the madness of everyday life and a time to recharge batteries, but above all else, it is a time for me, my wife and children to enjoy the magic that is Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all readers and my advertisers, and I hope you have a great New Year with lots of possibilities.

Andy Wilman

Property Team Leader, Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards

It’s Christmas time, and the festivities are fast approaching.

The tree’s decorated, the cards are coming in, and there may be still some last minute gifts to be bought and wrapped.

However amidst all the hustle and bustle I’d just like to put Christmas on pause for a moment to say a massive thank you to all my wonderful advertisers who have supported the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standard throughout 2016.

I hope you all have a fantastic time over the holidays and I hope that Santa Claus brings you everything and more on your list.

Here’s to a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
