Bogus caller pretended to be 'electrician' as he stole cash from Droitwich home

A MAN pretending to be an electrician stole cash from a house in Droitwich.

At around 10.30am last Wednesday (January 4), a man called to a house on Stalls Farm Road purporting to ‘check the electrics’.

He entered a room but would not allow the householder to follow him.

He then said he was going for a screwdriver however never came back and it was found a quantity of cash had been stolen.




The caller was about 40 years old, tall, white, with a northern accent.

He was wearing a yellow jacket and told the victim he came from Bromsgrove.
