THE LATEST Droitwich Messy Church will take place at the town’s St Andrews Church between 10am and midday on Saturday (February 18).
The event will centre on Jonah the Groaner and participants will be able to make pancake faces, Jonah and the whale puppets, storm shakers, boats and lots more crafts.
There will be songs, a short talk about Jonah the Groaner and a free lunch of sandwiches and cake.
Messy Church is free to children of all ages accompanied by an adult.
The last Messy Church was attended by 82 children – 200 people in total when mums, dads grandparents and other adults were counted.
Rev Bev Jameson, Team Vicar Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree Dean of Women’s Ministry Diocese of Worcester, said “Jonah the Groaner is a great story and I hope as many people come along as last time.”
Because of the Messy Church, the Parish Centre Cafe will be closed to the public on Saturday.
