THE ANNUAL Droitwich ArtsFest has been given a ‘significant financial boost’ from a town estate agent.
The cash has come from Nicol and Co for the event which is being organised by the Droitwich Arts Network and will feature music, dance, painting, photography, poetry, and sculpture.
Matt Nicol from Nicol and Co said he was delighted to be supporting what would probably be the largest arts festival the town had ever seen.
“It is part of our ethos to support local community events,” he added.
The funding will help organisers pay for colour leaflets, banners and promotional items.
ArtsFest 2017 organiser Rhys Jones added: “The generosity of Nicol and Co will not only help us promote ArtsFest, but will help us deliver a range of artistic
activities.”
Most of the events will be free and many will be held in the open air.
“Our aim is to enable the general public to enjoy and participate in a wide range of activities,” added Mr Jones.
Droitwich ArtsFest 2017 will run from July 15 to August 5.

Further details will be announced in the coming months leading up to the event.
