THIS WAS the moment that the OWNER of a Droitwich furniture store was left counting the cost after winds generated by Storm Doris ripped the front off his shop.
Oliver Goode, who runs Tailor Made Sofas on George Baylis Road, was in Birmingham at the time when he received a call from his colleague to see
He said: “I couldn’t believe it – the whole of the steel cladding that has been up for years came loose and just peeled off like the lid of a sardine can.
“It has literally come down in pieces,” he added.
