THE FIRST ‘Tennis in the Park’ session of 2017 has been held at the Lido Park tennis courts.
The course, priced at just £1 per session on a pay as you play basis, takes place over six weeks with the next session being held at the courts at 2pm tomorrow (Saturday). It is aimed at both adults and children taking their first steps into the sport.
Neil Bates from Droitwich Spa Tennis Club said “This a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air and try the sport without it costing too much.
“All of the equipment is provided and it’s great fun, so if anyone wants to come along this coming Saturday and join in they are more an welcome”.
The scheme is supported by Wychavon Council and the club is planning to do more courses throughout the summer.
