Can you offer a fur-ever home to Droitwich charity's street dogs?

Droitwich Editorial 10th Mar, 2017   0

THREE street dogs which were rescued from Crete and brought to Droitwich are now ready to find their fur-ever homes.

Jordan Bear Charity, which provides rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing for abandoned and abused Greyhounds and Lurchers, brought the dogs from ‘Hector’s House’, a rescue centre in Crete, all the way to Droitwich last month.

After an epic journey by sea to the Greek mainland, air from Greece to Brussels, Eurotunnel from Brussels to Essex and, finally, by road from Essex to Droitwich, the dogs have now settled in and are ready to be homed.

The three dogs include Angel, a Dachshund/Terrier cross, Astra, a Belgian Shepherd cross and Agnes, a White/Black Collie cross.

Allan Jones, from the Jordan Bear Charity, said: “We are now looking for some very special people or families to take them on and give them the lives they deserve.

“The ‘girls’ are full of love and play together with our dogs quite happily, they enchant everyone who has met them.

“They all have different characters and each of these lovely girls will make someone’s home complete.”

The normal vetting and home-check procedures will apply to prospective owners.
