JEWELLERY and a quantity of cash were stolen in a burglary in Yew Tree Hill yesterday (Thursday).
The incident happened between 9.35am and 10am when the thieves broke into a garden shed and, after taking a pair of shears, they used them to smash a window at the back of the house.
It was then the haul was taken.
