FAMILIES should get ready for the ‘mane’ event in Droitwich next weekend when the story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den will be told through arts and crafts, writes Cameron Hill.
St Andrews Church will be hosting its latest ‘messy church’ from 10am to midday next Saturday (May 20).
Children will get the chance to make lions’ faces out of pancakes and lolly sticks, and Daniels out of dolly pegs.
Singing, storytelling and a free lunch, of sandwiches and cake, are just a few things on the table. All children are welcome as long as accompanied by an adult.
Rev Bev Jameson said; “The crafts are just brilliant, the children and the mums and dads love making (and eating) the pancake face lions.”
The Parish Centre Cafe will be closed that day, and parking can be found nearby at the Waitrose car park.
