NEWLY elected Droitwich Town Councillor William Moy attended his first meeting at the annual mayor making at the Community Hall, Heritage Way, last night (Monday).

And the Conservative member, speaking to The Standard said he was looking forward to representing residents in the Copcut ward.

Coun Moy, who is also the chairman of SOBBS (Save Our Brine Baths), thanked everyone who voted for him and added: “I just want to help the town and the people within it as much as I can.

“If I can do anything for residents to support them, I’d be more than happy.”

He urged anyone who wanted to speak to him about any issues they had in their local area to contact the town council by calling 01905 774258.
