- THE SOUNDS of Motown will fill the air at the Gardener’s Arms next Saturday (May 27) when a charity concert will be held to raise funds for Droitwich Boxing Club.
Clyde Spencer and Friends,which includes Rohan Delano, Vic Bynoe and Leo B Apex will take to the stage from 7.30pm.
Clyde, formerly of the American Drifters Show and now with Boardwalk, said it was important organisations like Droitwich Boxing Club were supported as they provided activities and opportunities for the town’s young people.
Gardeners Arms landlord Simon Berry said he hoped as many people as possible would head down to the venue for the event.
“Clyde has played the Norbury Theatre before and his music always proves proved popular.
“It should be a fantastic night for a great cause.”
